Relief is built to be private by default. Your reflections stay with you.

What we don't collect

Your thoughts, reframes, evidence, takeaways, and journal entries are stored only on your device, encrypted, and are never uploaded to us or anyone else. Relief has no account system and no server that receives your written content. We cannot read your entries.

What is processed, and by whom

• Purchases & subscriptions. When you buy a subscription or the lifetime unlock, the transaction is handled by Apple, and subscription status is managed through RevenueCat. They receive purchase information and an anonymous, app-generated identifier — not your name, email, or journal content — solely to keep your purchase working across devices and reinstalls.
• Crash & performance diagnostics (optional). If enabled, anonymized crash and performance data may be collected to help us fix bugs. These reports are scrubbed of journal content and are not linked to your identity.

We do not sell your data, show ads, or use third-party advertising trackers.

Your control

You can delete any entry at any time within the app, which removes it from your device. Deleting the app removes all local data.

Children

Relief is not directed at children under 9.
